About This Project
IPT was set up by a small group of freelance English teachers to provide a document exchange for language learners. The system enables teachers to set their individual prices for lessons, proof reading, contracts and other documents drafted and checked in English (as a foreign language for the student). Students can upload documents they have written and teachers can make corrections with explanations. When the student is happy with the document, or the lesson is marked as complete, the teacher gets paid. The site features staff calendars that students can use to make ad-hoc bookings and a deposit box that allows students to drop off documents for checking by whomever is available to do it.

It's a nice easy system to use. The students like it and it takes a lot of the day-to-day admin out of our hands, leaving us more time to do our jobs. Our group disbanded at the beginning of the work-from-home era, and we mostly use chat apps to manage our own tasks, now, but thank you for the work and especially for the training and support. Great and important add-ons, both. Many thanks!

"Educational, Inspirational And Very Funny"
I've had the privilege of following Burtman.net, over the years, with all the exciting things it's been adding. I enjoy the stories while sipping endless cups of tea, as I've learned from Burtman. I love diving into his ridiculous scenarios and getting infected by his road trip religion. Everything's accessible and relatable (even technical stuff) and shows how making mistakes leads to learning. I'm inspired by that. I'm always left with a big smile on my face and I always want to return.
