Let's Take A Trip...

Come And Write For Burtman.net! - I'm looking for guest writers on a range of subjects...

Ah, Good. You're Here.

I've been expecting you. Obviously. And you've found a website about freedom, travel, art and learning, which also has a good supply of in-depth van-building guides. If that's what you're into, bookmark it and sign up at once! (Find out why you should sign up)

Beginner-Friendly Van Building Guides?

In the "Van Life" section, you'll find clear technical guides that deal with turning an idea into a design and building it into your van. It covers everything you need to know to turn a van into a home, and every article is based on my own personal experience. I even have great tips on vehicle security, parking, travel, maintenance, repair and preparation for the best (and worst) that van life has to offer.

Here's a recently updated article, to get you all hot and bothered: Do I Need An Inverter?
And here are some guides I have in the pipeline.

Tongue-In-Cheek Adventures, Too?

When you've had enough of technical things, the "Blogs" link at the top will have you laughing your pants off, as I share hilarious true stories from my travels. I hope they will remind you why you are putting all this effort into building your van, in the first place; adventures and fun!

Here's a recently updated blog post, to show you what you can expect: Junction 30 (In Production Now)

Where Did It All Begin?

If you'd like to find out how this whole caper got started, here's the story so far.
Everything you see on this website is essentially because of my personal desire to hit the road and my love of people who want to do the same.
It's a lot of work and I'm going it alone, but if you enjoy it, it's all worthwhile.

But Wait! There's More...

Behind the scenes, I have been writing a book - well, actually, seven books, and you can read some of them in Burtman's Books, with a free membership, which also lets you comment and win signed paperbacks!

And still, there's more, but you'll find out about the rest of it when you sign in. ;)

You can find Burtman on Telegram and Tumblr, and you can support this project (and my creative endeavors) via the coffee cup at the bottom of this page (or the "Buy Me A Coffee" link in the footer), thanks to BuyMeACoffee.com. Thank you! :)
If you fancy getting a BMC account for your own creative efforts, consider using this link, which gives me a referral.
