Meeting The Neighbors

Updated:
In the villages, every house has at least one dog, and all of them live outside full-time. Ethics aside, this makes a quiet walk around the village at night impossible. Well, actually, it creates a barking chain reaction that long outlasts the actual walk, as every dog, right into the distance, chimes in on the "I heard something" cacophony.
Being a dog man, I'm used to approaching fences where sniffing noses can be found and investigating who they belong to. My boy loves to say hello and most of the dogs we encounter are friendly. There are exceptions.
Sometimes, you see faces you don't expect, when you peer through fences.
Occasionally, you don't get a dog, at all. You get a curly-horned ram, instead.
Or a gang of goats.
Or an ostrich. Yes, that happened, but sadly, not while I had my camera.
