Hidden Gems

Updated:

During the last two years living in villages, I've certainly become accustomed to their uniqueness. Every village is completely different and every house is a bespoke work in its own right. Most people build their own houses and that allows for a wide range of styles, including this beauty that I saw a few days ago.
Get off your horse and drink your milk.
Some villages are so remote that the only reason you will know about them is by accidentally following a narrow road up a hill, where most people wouldn't expect to find anything at all. Of course, being Burtman, it's not that much of an accident for me; I track these roads down for that exact purpose and I'm often glad I did. Here, tucked between vast fields, a village comprised of exactly three houses. With such privacy, gates and doors are often left open, allowing snooping misters like myself to peep inside.
Another day, another fine gem discovered, somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
