Read Time: About 1 Minute

When I went to sleep, last night, this truck was already parked up in front of me in the lay-by next to a derelict fuel station. It was atmospheric, and I quite liked the fact it was out of the way of people. I felt like that would give me the peace I needed to sleep as snug as a bug in a rug. The truck has a second trailer, and it was closed up tight. I didn't pay it much mind. When we got out for our morning walk, today, though, something looked a bit odd. The trailer was empty, open, lowered for loading and clearly designed to carry a vehicle. And it was pointing directly at Burt. I couldn't let it sit. After a short walk around the area, I moved to a public parking lot because I kept imagining returning to an empty space and wondering just what the heck to do next.

I'm sure it's just my imagination, though. Maybe he'd just off-loaded a car and hadn't closed up the trailer, yet. That makes sense. In a lay-by on the highway. Maybe he was just airing it, so it didn' get moldy. That's probably it. Hmm. Well, it didn't seem like a dodgy area, at least not until I saw these road signs.

"Educational, Inspirational And Very Funny"

I've had the privilege of following Burtman.net, over the years, with all the exciting things it's been adding. I enjoy the stories while sipping endless cups of tea, as I've learned from Burtman. I love diving into his ridiculous scenarios and getting infected by his road trip religion. Everything's accessible and relatable (even technical stuff) and shows how making mistakes leads to learning. I'm inspired by that. I'm always left with a big smile on my face and I always want to return. - Natku
