Since leaving the city behind, I've fallen for the countryside in a serious way. I still feel like it's such a great thing to be able to step out into nature, without having to travel or make arrangements. My back garden is made of endless, rolling hills, where I can see deer, rabbits, birds of prey, waterways, small mountains, trees and more.

While out in the fields, I hear the songs of the many different birds, and sometimes, distant church bells, where used to be traffic and pollution. This week, I took my aging camera out with me, and picked a few variations of the exiting sun, as it turned the sky all those colors and showed me some beauty.

After the rain, the sunlight filtered through the clouds, creating a show that seemed to be just for me.

And as we were turning back, after a long walk, we were serenaded with the most beautiful song.
