A tool for separating ball joints and similar press-in connections.

To use, select the appropriate adapter from the kit, to fit the particular joint you are separating, and fit the clamp over it. Make sure it's secure and won't slip off. Attach a socket or spanner that will give you a good amount of leverage, and slowly turn the clamp to force the ball joint apart.

Beware of sudden movements that can occur at the moment of separation. They can be dangerous to fingers and eyes. If operating while the joint is still attached to the vehicle, the immediate surroundings may also present risk of injury. Take appropriate steps to make the work area safe, and operate carefully. Do not rush and do not proceed unless the adapter you have fits the joint properly.
