Step-Down Adapter

AKA: Socket Converter, Socket Adapter

WARNING:

When stepping your ratchet handle down to take a smaller socket, be careful not to apply too much pressure to the handle, as the smaller socket can easily be destroyed.

Information

Allow fitting a smaller socket onto a larger ratchet handle. The picture shows adapters for (left) fitting a 3/8" socket onto a 1/2" ratchet handle and (right) fitting a 1/4" socket onto a 3/8" ratchet handle. The adapters can be daisy-chained (in this case, allowing you to fit a 1/4" socket onto a 1/2" ratchet handle).
