Information

A powerful tool for cutting metal, brick, glass, tile and other hard surfaces, and for heavy sanding applications like removal of thick rust, paint and coatings.

The design of this tool is such that it can take sanding, cutting and grinding discs as well as circular saw blades for wood and other materials. Its versatility makes it a must-have in your tool box.

Angle grinders are extremely powerful and can make light work of jobs that would take hours to achieve by hand. Because of this, it's also possible to accidentally over-work a piece, resulting in severe damage to coatings and even base metal.

To fit a disc, press and hold the button on the back of the grinder with your finger, then use the provided spanner to remove the locking washer from the front. Place the disc the right way around over the spindle (the correct position will be shown on the disc) and then replace the washer, firmly tightening with the spanner.

Once fitted, try to wiggle the disc to make sure there is no play. If it moves, center it again and continue tightening. Once fitted correctly, you can turn the grinder on by sliding the switch on the side. Be aware that, unlike a drill or jigsaw, the grinder will keep running after you let go of the power switch, as the switch usually locks in position. To turn the grinder off, you need to press down on one end of the switch to release its lock.

Please see the video below for full details before using your grinder for the first time.
