If you've been following my
Adventures In Foreign Tongues, you already know I've been using a paintbrush to draw Chinese symbols, as part of my Mandarin studies. Well, this week, I've been given yet another artsy gift that I already fell in love with. It's a dipping pen - kind of like a fountain pen, but the ink isn't in a cartridge, it's in a pot, so you have to keep dipping it, just like a paintbrush.
Just when I thought I was as retro as I could be.
Nice, huh?
Why not start with a song lyric?
Genuine quotes.
Obviously, it's a work in progress, and this is day one, so you can't really expect good results, but I'm looking forward to getting good at this.
Who knew scribbling crap on paper was so much fun?
