Read Time: About 1 Minute

Throughout the process of building this website into the glorious trove of treasure you see before you, I've tried a lot of tools and things that are meant to make motoring easier. For the most part, things tend to do what they say on the tin, but now and then, I find something so worthless, I feel the need to tell you about it, just so you don't waste your time and money.

Today, I found the first such item I wanted to tell you about, because it really is a giant, steaming pile of crap.

#1: Nano Window Sheets

These sticky sheets are supposed to prevent steam, frost, ice and rain from sticking to them, leaving nice clear patches on your windows and mirrors, so you can see clearly, despite adverse weather. As you can see from the product packaging, the difference they are supposed to make is well worth the few euros you'd spend on them. Well, let me tell you otherwise.

I've had these bastards stuck to my windows and mirrors for two years and so far, I haven't noticed a benefit worthy of a mention, let alone a referral. What I've essentially got is annoying squares stuck to my glass, and little more. I'd pull 'em off, but they might leave a gunk that's difficult to remove, but that's the only reason for leaving them on.

Nano window BS. Nope.

"Educational, Inspirational And Very Funny"

I've had the privilege of following Burtman.net, over the years, with all the exciting things it's been adding. I enjoy the stories while sipping endless cups of tea, as I've learned from Burtman. I love diving into his ridiculous scenarios and getting infected by his road trip religion. Everything's accessible and relatable (even technical stuff) and shows how making mistakes leads to learning. I'm inspired by that. I'm always left with a big smile on my face and I always want to return. - Natku
