Back in the day, and I'm talkin' way back in the '90s, I used to leave the radio on, with a blank tape in the cassette deck, in case something came on that I liked the sound of. One of those many songs that ended up in my white label collection was "Susan's House", by a band called Eels. Some years have streamed by, since I heard anything by Eels, but, for some reason, that song came back to me, this morning, and I discovered that the band is still going.

And they have a lot of beautiful songs.

In the spirit of that nostalgia, a song I've just come across captures the feeling of being that child, up at dawn, keen to discover the world, anew.
