Back To Tool ListSimilar to a socket, the box spanner can fit over a bolt that is seated very deeply inside an unreachable area. Although not typically as strong as a standard socket, the box spanner's convenience warrants its existence. You can thread a screwdriver or T-bar through the holes on the side to gain leverage.
