Hand Riveter
AKA: Pop Riveter
Using this tool requires a fair amount of effort and the handles can snap together suddenly under the pressure. Keep fingers well clear of joints and contact edges.
To operate, open the handles and place a rivet inside the nose of the riveter. Put the head of the rivet into the hole you are trying to rivet and squeeze the handles together. You will need to repeat the last step two-to-three times until the rivet snaps, leaving the stalk inside the riveter. Open the handles again and tilt the riveter downward to release the rivet stalk. If the rivet doesn't fit snugly into the riveter, try replacing the silver ring on the end of the riveter with one of the alternative sized you can see screwed into the handle.
