Never operate without checking all parts are in good condition, fitted correctly and appropriate for the job at hand. Always use the correct type of blade. Do not operate in wet conditions.
A powerful tool for cutting shapes in various materials (using different blades for different materials). The jigsaw can be used in building furniture, cutting window and vent holes in van walls, and much more.
Different versions have different methods for securing the blade. Check your manual to ensure a safe blade change.
